Sent from Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows via mTalk I'd swear this is a government operation were it not for the Microsoft sign outside the building. Hope this helps until they release a proper fixPutting the phone out of date fixes the "out of date" issue. Hope this helps until they release a proper fix
#Outlook account settings are out of datre update
Go back and set the time and date to update automatically (or set it yourself to whatever you'd like)Īt least it has been working for a few hours for me including Calendar, Contacts, etc. Go to your mail app and sync the Outlook account (should be syncing with no issues).ģ. Set the date manually to 2018 (Settings -> Time & Language -> Date & Time) and save it.Ģ.
#Outlook account settings are out of datre password
Enter your username and password and it should work!ġ. It will say something like this does not look like a work or a school account -> Tap on Continue setting up an account (I did not really read and memorize it :) )Ĥ. Tap on Add Account and add Exchange (not account)ģ. Go into Manage Accounts in your mail app and DELETE the Outlook account (the one that is giving you the annoying message).Ģ. Please help, no mail functionality at all.Same issue.ġ. Deleted Outlook mail completely and re-added, same problem. Fix Account states fixed, but problem immediately re-occurs. Under Manage Accounts is states Attention Required, giving only option to Fix Account or Change Settings. ***But the biggest change that's happened today is that I no longer have "Verify" in Settings>My Account so what should I do now please? O/s build version 19044.As of last night I get the notification: "Your Outlook account settings are out of date" and mail no longer syncs. HERE that I change my password but that was only for mail so again I ignored it. It also showed my wife'sĮmail address, which I input when I set up the account but said that no email alerts have been sent to her.
#Outlook account settings are out of datre verification
It showed that two-stage verification is off (which is how it should be). The latest entry was this morning - as above. Proceed, but I then saw "see when & where you used you're account". It then removed my input and showed a suggestion that I sign in with a local account. It asked for my Hello Pin so I entered it.

I went to my Settings>Your Account>Verify. Keep in mind that you should use the email address or phone number you entered when creating your Microsoft account.
#Outlook account settings are out of datre code
Enter the code to verify your account.Īfter you verify your account, check if the problem still persists. After that, you’ll get a confirmation code. Now select the desired verification method and click Next.Ĥ. Open Settings app and go to Accounts > Your info.ģ. (The part in between the two has my personal info so I've left that off.) When I signed in just now, I again had these two Frankenstein messages in my Notifications:Īnd of course both my Word & Excel templates are showing the same Frankenstein error that I've flagged up many times: O/s build version 19044.1466 You MUST visit "Sharing experiences and staying safe, together" - see Andreea_C's profile I'll let you know shortly if there's any changeīut it's clear to me that this is a bigger problem than just the SSL, although I will try that later. I'll try the instruction on it & will sign out of my Word & Excel and then sign in again. The same nonsense is affecting my Excel template as well. (I've removed the bit in the middle as it has all my PI.) I clicked on the Exclamation mark and saw this When I opened my Word template to save your advice & deal with later, this was at the top of it. (3) The problem has 'spread' to my Word - again. I had to go to "My Activity" to get back here. (2) When I received the email notification about your reply ("Question has a reply" -Outlook settings out of date), I pressed Reply but instead of being taken to this thread I was taken to here: Both times I clicked to "fix it in Shared experience settings", both times it worked at the time but the problem re-occurred. This happened when I signed in on the 1st January and also two weeks before that. (1) I had this 'Microsoft Account Problem' message in my notifications It ignored the Windows PIN by telling me I had to "enter your PIN" and it took me though most of the stages shown in the above thread. THIS ONE of the three previous threads I'd created. (1) First, I signed in as usual and entered my Windows Hello PIN. With all that's happened this morning Arif I'm now certain that the problem is much bigger.
